I have not gotten a chance to read this yet...it's waiting at my LCS for me. Anyone have a chance to read it yet? How is it?? I have been looking forward to seeing how he would treat the character.

Read it. If the story is going where I think it is, there is going to be

 

(for how long is yet unknown), a radical change in the character and

 

direction of the story. I'm in.

Anyone read issue 42? I thought it was awful. There were to many reveals and a lot of big things happened that felt off. Characters did things conveniently to move the story along but it felt strange. Some of the story elements should have been a slow build like Clark revealing to Lois. Instead it just happened. The solar flare just seems pointless. It seems like a way to make Supes vulnerable but it also seems to be making him foolish.

 

I was excited to see JRJR switch to DC and thought the fresh start would be good for him. The Johns' run was solid, but I'm not enjoying the new writer.

 

I'm sorry to say, but this will be my last issue.
