:takeit: per PM. Thanks Rick!

Spectacular Stories Magazine 4, Fox, 1950.

One Sherlock Holmes story, the rest is True Crime.

Flat, clean, square, tight, with minor wear and a half inch split upper spine. Small dogear with smaller still tear upper RH FC,. offwhite interior.

Hardly any bleedthrough from inside FC, one tiny bit above and to the left of the gal whose head is getting bonked.

Asking $70 for this little beauty.

Exciting Comics 64, 1948

Some spine roll, one pencil mark on Our Heroic Jungle Girl's leg, otherwise quite a nice issue. Tight, clean, bit of gloss left, couple light stains lower RH BC, tight spine and CF with offwhite-white pages,

Can't go wrong with a painted Schomburg cover either.

Asking $100 SOLD!

Dear Beatrice Fairfax 5 (#1) 1950

Here's an odd one.,

Nice copy of an obscure romance title, and here's the kicker.

Painted cover by Alex Schomburg! A far cry from the last comic I posted, isn't it?

Some general wear on a flat tight glossy book with white pages.

Take it home for $40 SOLD!

Here's the last one for a couple hours, time for dinner and more scans.

Gay Comics 22, 1945.

Well, this vintage cover, here in the postmillennial era, is pretty pervy, at least to a disgusting mind like mine.

Between the title, the fan going swish, Our Blonde Heroine blowing hard on something pink, and Our Hero getting a face full of splat, there's enough double entendre for pretty much anyone's libido, lol

Cover is loose, with a small piece out at the single staple, otherwise quite a pretty book. Tight interior, white pages.

Edit: Not to mention the Archie, Betty, and Jughead clones...

Asking $50 for this one. SOLD!

How about a couple precode crime books for a palate cleanser?

Spectacular Features Magazine 3, Fox, 1950

Half inch split lower spine, no other major problems. Minor general wear, flat and clean, with the usual Fox minor bleedthrough from the purple ink inside the FC. Spine and interior are tight, nice offwhite - white pages.

Asking $45

Eight O'clock and time to rock.

Astonishing 12, 1952.

Cover almost completely split, but somehow still connected to the upper staple. This book is begging for eight inches of archival tape, lol

Interior is tight, offwhite pages.

Take a reader for $20 SOLD!

Journey Into Mystery 15, 1954

Rough reader, featuring two different varieties of tape, plus a couple sewn spots upper and lower spine.

Miscut to boot, lol

O'street G is $68, how about $40 for an ugly reader?

Let's see a show of hands! Who likes 50's mock 3D comics?

Lovelorn 50, 1954

Features awkward art trying to look like 3D without the glasses.

This copy is a beauty. Flat and square, clean, modest wear on a black cover, tight spine and CF, white pages. Except that many of them are printed in black, lol

Asking $60 SOLD!
