Small tear at top edge, above the "g" in the banner. Top and bottom corners have small creases. Slight misalignment of front cover. Back cover dirty.

Spine stress. Crease on front cover, right hand corner. Small crease bottom right corner front cover. Very minor chipping along top edge back cover, no pieces missing. Back cover slightly dirty.

Spine stress marks. Bottom front cover edge has some impact creasing. Back cover bottom left corner blunt and creases, very minor. Non-colour-breaking stress lines on spine edge back cover.

Distributor's ink overspray on top, right hand and spine edge. Bottom left corner ding. Long non-colour-breaking fold along spine edge, approx 2cm from spine. Staples not centred on spine, showing on rear cover.

Bakerish art(pencils). Staple tears. Bottom staple detatched. Some small holes in spine. 2 rips on cover, near the price. Slight spine roll. A light stain or two on the back cover.

Classic Colorama by Powell. Nostrand-a. Spine taped with red electrical tape. Colour has bled through to the inside pages from three (now removed) un-needed staples. Top staple detatched. Tape has made spine fragile, not splitting but could in future. Old tape residue on front cover across an old tear. Pen marks on an add in the centrefold. Old staple tear sealed with tape on back cover. Large tear across back cover, from spine to middle of book approx 1/2 wal along spine edge. Two ink stamps on back cover, of Chinese (?) characters.

Nail polish on front cover, inside and out. Spine splits.

Non-colour-breaking creases on bottom left corner back cover, with another area of similar creases in the text (right block of text) in ad.

Spine stress and minor staple stress. Some minor impact creases on top and bottom front cover edges. Dented corner front cover left hand side. Minor spine stress on back cover spine edge.

 

Chamber Of Chills (70s) #10 VFNM $10

Spine stress and staple stress. Right hand edge of front cover has a slight overhang which is very slightly folding over, but is not creased or marked. Back cover slightly dirty.

 

Chamber Of Darkness (70s) #5 VF $20

H.P. Lovecraft adaptation. Spine and staple stress. Ink stamp on front cover in logo. Top right hand corner front cover abraided. Production creases on front cover, through logo and green text box. Centrefold has a small tear, and a piece folded over at the tear. Looks like a small but wasn't trimmed properly and was torn when book was bought. Production crease on back cover, bottom left side.

 

Chamber Of Darkness (70s) #7 VG $10

First Wrightson art at Marvel and draws himself in first and last panels first story. Moderate spine and staple stress marks. Large crease from top to bottom of front cover, from left hand side of logo through demon's leg. Small creases bottom right corner. Colour breaking scratch on front cover, near demon's wing. Light creases and spine stress back cover.

Damage from piece missing on rh edge goes thru 1/2 of book. Doesn't go into any panels. Back cvr has production creases.

 

Crime And Punishment #9 (FRGD) $5.

Charles Biro c. Water damage. Rusty staples w/migration. Covers wrinkled along with interior pages due to water. Print from another book transfered to front cover. Colour loss related to water damage. Back cover similarly damaged to the front cover, but no print transfer. Bottom right corner creased. Number written in pencil top left corner back cover. Rust stains from staples showing on back cover. Small area of paper loss along bottom edge of back cover, mid-book.

Thomas Dun Killer Of Thousands story. Large chunk torn off front cover, left hand corner. Spine splits in that area, as well. Large tears front cover, top edge right hand side. Cover detatched from top and only staple, re-attached with archival tape (inside and out, front and back). Large tear back cover right hand side through coupon to bottom edge. Foxing/stains back cover. Bottom back cover edge chipping/tears.

CGC 6.0 River City copy, cracked from case. Comes with label and slab's top sticker. No idea how this was called Fine, tho! Hole in spine near yellow text box on cover. Bottom staple detatched and slightly rusty and has associated staining. Top staple rusty with stains. Slight water marks/stains on top edge back cover.

GDVG $45 Foxing on cover and some inside pages. Tear and hole in spine at the yellow text box on front cover. Part of one panel cut from inside page, affects story (minor). Foxing on back cover. Store stamp on back cover.

GD+ $40 Used in Senate investigation into juvenile delinquency. Spine rough with multiple small splits/holes. Production creases on front cover, top through logo and bottom through lower part of logo. Bottom right corner has multiple folds/creases. Inside pages have a fanned appearance, as if there is a spine roll but there's no evidence of one.

Spine has typical spine edge ripples, front and back. Not severe though. Number written in ink on cover in logo. Bottom left corner impacted causing spine split (1.5cm approx). Crease on bottom right corner front cover. Back cover slightly dirty.

 

Fear #9 VFNM $20

Kirby-a reprints. Small crease on front cover, top corner spine side. Very slight bend along spine, approx 1cm from spine itself. Very small stain/mark right hand side back cover next to coupon from ad. Top edge back cover approx mid-book has impact crease, very faint.

 

Fight Against Crime #18 SOLD!

PRFR $30 Spine split and reattatched with archival tape (not done well...). Cover detatched and reattatched with archival tape. Mouse chew top right corner, through whole book but not into any panels. Dust shadow on back cover at left hand edge.

Staple tears and spine stress. Covers (inside) brown. Tear sealed from inside front cover with old tape. Diagonal crease from near bottom left corner to mid-cover. Back cover brown with some foxing. Two areas of old tape along edge of back cover, mid-left hand side and middle top edge.

 

Ghost Comics #5 GD $40 SOLD!

Spine stress. Staple tears, with the top one being severe. Cover still firmly attatched. A few small holes in spine. Top edge of front and back cover discoloured.

 

Ghost Comics #8 FRGD $25 SOLD!

Canadian Edition. Severe staple tears. Spine rough, with multiple holes/tears. Insides printed poorly. Back cover, left hand edge is very rough, lots of small tears/chips. Slight pencil writing on front and back cover.

 

Hand Of Fate #9 GD+ $30

Staple tears. Top staple partly detatched. Spine stress. Minor burn mark on front cover, below the logo box near drawing of the tree. Lower right hand corner folds, some inside as well. Two tears on back cover, approx 1/4 of the way from top edge and the other slightly lower. Two bits of odd dried "powdery" looking substance on back cover.

Moderate spine stress, minor staple tears. Heavy creasing on front cover. Numbers written in ink on front cover. Back cover dirty, with some spine stress.

I guess I'm just trying to scare the 20% offer-ers away. Every sales thread I've done since I joined here has had at least 3 people who think 20 for a 100 book is a fair and good offer that I'd be nuts to pass on. I'm getting out, so I'm trying to get at least as much as I put into the books in return. I don't want the hassle of negotiations that go nowhere. I ain't gonna take 20 cents on the dollar!

Some small tears on right hand cover edge. Inside pages browning on right hand edge. Top staple pulling through centrefold, but still attached. Back cover has large tear in ad logo. Back cover has areas of browning.

Feldstein-r/VOH #12. Moderate spine stress. Severe staple tears. Spine has lots of small rips/holes. Spine splits. Chip missing from top front cover edge. Some tears on right hand edge front cover, largest just below logo and smaller one at the area with missing bit. Large tear on back cover, roughly middle.

 

Haunt Of Fear #21 GD- £30

Bottom front cover has multiple chips out, which go into book. They don't affect story or art. Spine stress and splits. Bottom staple partly detatched. Hole/dents in front cover, right hand side, in logo. This goes through whole book to back cover. Bottom edge of book very slightly brittle. Book can still be read.

 

Haunt Of Fear #24 GDVG $40 SOLD!

Used in Senate Investigative report, pg8. Spine stress. Staple tears. Bottom staple partly detatched. Back cover dirty.

 

Haunt Of Fear #25 FRGD $30

Moderate water damage. Staples rusty, with staining inside. Colour loss along top cover edge and along spine. Back cover has stains from rusty staples. Interior pages feel oddly grainy.

Wrightson-c. Slight spine and staple stress. All four corners front cover slightly dented. Minor bends/dents on front cover, none break colour. Back cover, right edge near planes in ad has a rust stain from the staple from another book. Tiny chip out of corner back cover left hand side.

Wrightson-c. Swamp creature story by Wrightson similar to Swamp Thing. Spine stress and staple stress. Crease from top to bottom of front cover, near mid-book. All four corners dented/abraided.
