MAJOR NEWS! We just purchased a collection from Long Island, New York, that includes an incredible group of super high grade (9.6 and higher) Silver Surfers for our upcoming August Grand Auction. The auction is scheduled to begin in just over four (4) weeks, on the night of Monday, August 24th and last for ten (10) days until the night of Thursday, September 3rd as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website (www.PedigreeComics.com). There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and EVERY item will have no reserve. Every book is CGC or CBCS graded and the minimum bid is only $100 for this Grand Auction. The Silver Surfer run of issues #1 - #18 is one of the best ones ever assembled and easily the highest graded run ever offered for sale. If the collector had entered his run into the CGC Comics Registry it would rank as one of the top 3 sets. The books were just added to the Auction Preview this week. Many of the books have white pages and there are actually DOUBLES on some of the 9.8 issues (the collector really loves the 9.8 Surfers, especially the square-bound issues of #1-#7)!
