Paypay just told me I'm at my limit and I have to enter in my bank account to get more buying power. Is that safe?

 

What people have suggested is that you get a new bank account and when it receives money, to immediately trasnfer that money into your old account. Paypal can deduct from your bank account if a buyer renegs on a purchase and they find no other recourse (it's in their agreement that gives them the right, but no one bothers to read the agreement).

whatever you do, don't click on any e-mail links! this could be a scam.

 

whatever you do, log into the paypal website on your own, not through a link.

 

if your paypal is connected to your CC, I would have assumed your CC limit is your limit.

 

Unless, maybe, it has to do with them needing your bank account info to have a confirmed address?
