boardie Paris_Fred has a shop:

(I'm going to admit to my great shame that I've never been. Next year! I swear!)

I have been to Pulp's Comics

http://pulpscomics.blogspot.com/

and Album Comics

https://album.fr/

Both are very cool.

To my other great shame, I didn't got to a single comic shop last year. Next year!

The photos are from my trip in 2006, featuring boardie osborne_fr and... Cap and Mandi!

Seriously, though, Cap and Mandi!

Are you looking for American stuff or European stuff? The only place I know that sells American Comics is Album...linked above. They have two stores kitty corner to each other of blvd St. Germain...one sells US stuff, the other European stuff. And nearby on rue Dante there are several stores (Pulp's being one of them)

My favorite for old European stuff is there, on rue Dante...Rackam. Great store. He has some very cool vintage Tintin, Buck Danny, etc.

Another great store is in the Passage Jouffroy in the 9th...I forget the name and I don't see it on Google maps. Even if it isn't there any more, a visit to the Passages is worth the trip anyway.

Have fun...wish I was going!!

I'll be looking for both. One of the things specifically I intend to look for are French-language versions of the Valiant books, since that's the line I follow the most. But really, anything that looks interesting, and also I'm just interested in checking out how they do things in other countries.

Check out any antique street fairs during your time there. I was able to get a bunch of really cool vintage French comics there for about $20 the last time I visited the city.

Will try and put up a few scans if I can dig them up.

Enjoy and safe travels.

Not a comic shop but a vintage Magazine shop. Found first appearance and a few later appearances of the Smurfs here. The owner smokes quite a bit and it is noticeable when you enter the shop but it was quite fun to visit. It is in a cul de sac near the Louvre area

La Galcante

52 Rue de l'Arbre Sec

I had quite a bit of luck here:

Aaapoum Bapoum

8 rue Dante (major corners are St. Germain and St. Jacques)

Complete runs of quite a few European version of US comics like Titans, Strange, etc. Also, tons of magazines (Vampirella, etc.) Look in their display cases too, tons of 1st appearances of Marvel and DC characters in France. Out of all the comic book stores in the area (and there are quite a few and don't forget to hit the used bookstores as they also have comics), this was the shop with the best selection of French versions of US comics. It is just off the main street (St. Germain), but well worth seeking out.

They have a website too:
