AGENDA

--------------

Explore some of the world’s most important key comics and original art, and learn of professional conservation techniques, from Michael A. Solof, the Collections and Exhibits Manager for Geppi’s Entertainment Museum in Baltimore.

Mike is also writer and photographer for SCOOP Fandom Advisory Network for Gemstone Publishing (publisher of Overstreet Price Guide and Grading Guide). He started collecting comics late in life at the age of 37. Batman became his gateway drug to the rest of his now 20,000+ collection of comics, 16,000 of which are signed by various creators. He plans to never retire from his job which he loves but did recently start selling his “babies” off at auction… the first to go… The Walking Dead #1 signed by Kirkman and Moore. Sigh.

In addition, this meeting will feature a discussion between our High Grade Collectors on ways to improve our interactions and to discuss interests for new events in 2016.

Please RSVP on Meetup.com, and hope to join you online for this educational and entertaining webcast.
