Ill be there this year but only for the day. Easier for me to drive 2 hours home and use the money i would have spent on a hotel towards comics. Probably hitting this one up by myself so hopefully i run into a few folks to keep me entertained :)

It's so funny, 5 years ago this show was at a deserted RTP mall.

Crazy, I was just in Morrisville today and drove right past this mall! lol

 

I never drive out that way hardly anymore. I heard a rumor that mall was going to be

converted into a Raleigh version of china town or something?

Yeah, that was the rumor a couple of years ago, I believe there was an article in the N&O about it with a diagram showing the layout of the town/shops if I recall.

Best time to go is Sunday AM before the drunks and church crowd roll in. Only way I got my Saga issues signed by Fiona Staples. Hate to think what the lines will be like for Adam Hughes and Charlie Adlard, with CGC in attendance...

 

Saga actually had a cosplay contest in the letters section, and the winner was from the Greensboro, NC area. He actually showed up in that costume to meet Fiona Staples, and she loved it!

This show is in durham...

 

I was born in Durham, but raised in the Red Brick city of Raleigh,

so if this was the "Triangle Con" I would've.
