It's when you pick out one of your Top 5 most valuable CGC books and send it to me for free, while I do likewise. Of course, you know I only collect 1990-1995 era Marvels in mid-grade. tongue.gifwink.gifgrin.gif

But seriously, it's a promotional day for the industry where a bunch of publishers reprint one of their books (labeled "Free Comic Book Day") and give them away for free through direct retailers. Last year, Marvel reprinted USM #1, this year they are doing UXM #1. Meanwhile, the comic shops out there can use this to promote their business and the hobby. Last year's event was tied to the release of the Spidey movie, and I believe this year's event will be tied to the release of X2.
