Hawkman movie?

What do you think about Tatum Channing as Hawkman? Sounds "off", considering, but he did a credible job in Jupiter Ascending. Tatum is from Decatur, Alabama - where I have friends and relatives - and I have to tell you, the rumors have been flying for a while that he has a -script or at least a working draft in his hands. Could just be rumors, though .....

Now that hes working for Fox or marvel as Gambit I don't see it happening with him but I like the idea of him as Hawkman
