Police Looking for Missing GA/SA Collection in Nova Scotia

Hi everyone,

This is one of those nightmare situations that I hope to never experience. A collection of approximately 280 GA and SA comics were stolen from a residence in Nova Scotia in September and police are asking for assistance. I spoke with the victim yesterday and the collector and dealer community in Nova Scotia has been helpful, but does not have any leads. I am not involved in this case in any way, but figured that board members would appreciate the FYI just in case they showed up here. Here is a link to the CBC news article about it:

Will be hard to track IMO. The books are likely not very high grade (based on the 2 Batman pics) nor appear to have any distinct markings that would make identification easier.

You are likely right and I suspect that the publicity will lead to the comics not coming out of the woodwork for some time. When the victim called me yesterday, I decided to spread the word to the best of my ability. She did not indicate that any of the books have identifying features either (like her brothers' name), so I don't have high hopes for the collection's recovery. Criminals can be stupid though, so you never know.
