Mylar bags question

7 posts in this topic

HI guys -- I just bought a batch of the 2mm mylar CGC bags but they are really large. I've seen some dealers have really tight fitting bags for their CGC books. Any idea what dimensions I should be looking for or where to find them?

thanks

Usually, they are divided up by age that they fit. I forget the exact dimensions. Modern bags are the smallest and issues fit very tight. The biggest problem is some double size or square bound comics do not fit well in them. Regular is slightly bigger, and will fit all modern comics without an issue. Silver bags are about the same size as regular bags. Golden are the largest, and will be very lose on modern comics. For some reason DC comics of all ages seem to run slightly larger then Marvel.
