I have just caught the comic collecting bug ! and as a new collector still unsure how to grade my comics accurately,so all comments very welcome.

Welcome to the boards... and the obsession!

 

Really nice TFTC... probably have to guess a picky 5.5 for the corner creasing on both sides and the spine/staple-area wear, but it presents a lot better.

I am going to say a 5.0 to 5.5, however: do I spot colour touch-ups along the black area near the spine? If so, this would only be an apparent grade.

Now that you mention it, I see a couple of ticks on the white of the spine that have a CT look when they reach the colored areas...crud

 

Hell, I think I see a evidence of a slight sub crease now too! I really need to clean my work monitor.
