Please grade - Green Lantern #40

A lower grade copy to be sure, but am wondering how the piece missing from the back cover and a 1/4" spine split will affect the grade

Looks to be some staining and or soiling on the front cover as well. Structurally it looks pretty good though. I'd call it a G/VG

Pretty much in agreement with this grade. Tough to grade these lower grade copies. Anyone else?

In the old days I'd be calling this a 2.0 and you would grade it a 1.8.

You can have significant pieces out at 1.8 thats a tad harsh. How secure is the centerfold? I still think that the book looks structurally sound.

Structurally, the book is solid. Centerfold is secure. The spine split, soiling/staining, and the piece missing from the back cover are the largest defects which I think brings this book to the 2.5 - 3.0 range. But that is why I post the book - to get all this input.

I stand behind my 3.0 then
