Herb Trimpe Estate Comics & Books For Sale – 1st Time to Market

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it. I wanted to add one more sale list for your consideration as you peruse Black Friday ads. As people may have seen in the Comic Art For Sale section, I have been helping Patricia Trimpe to sort through Herb Trimpe’s collection after his untimely death earlier this year.

 

In the following thread, I listed what remained of Herb’s art, prints, and animation cels.

Over the last few week’s I’ve had the pleasure of sorting through the comic books and other reference books that Herb kept. It’s provided some unique insights into Herb’s career and personal inspirations. I’m offering them here for the first time to the public.

 

As owning books from creators that inspire us is cool, I wanted to offer these up to you, fellow collectors. It’s cool to know that one of your favorite creators leafed through this at one point or another. Each piece or lot will come with a Certificate of Authenticity from Herb’s Estate signed by Patricia.

 

For every $100 you spend, I will include a special gift – for the first $100, I will include an unsigned copy of Herb’s 2nd sketchbook. For the next $100, I’ll include an unsigned copy of his 2nd sketchbook. After that, I'll figure something out...

 

For shipping, I will use USPS Priority Flat Rate Shipping: $18 for a Large Box; $13 for a Medium Box; and $6 for a Flat Rate envelope. I will be more than happy to combine lots into the most economical shipping available.

 

Payment should made via PayPal or check/money order directly to Patricia Trimpe.

There are potentially a few more misplaced books that I’ll list when we find them, but below represents the majority of what remains.

 

All comics/books are VF or better if not specified. I have tried to point out the ones that had defects. Sorry I could not provide pictures of all books, but have tried to provide pics of the ones that I thought would be of most interest. I’ll try to get more pics up after the holidays for the books that remain.
