That lower left front cover corner fray at the spine, and the back cover at the top spine implies something broke the ink that doesn't seem to make it to the front cover. There's a faint crease on the front cover overhang at the top, and a few color/ink breaks in the bricks.....

An 8 or 7.5 ?
