I haven't been collecting for much over 3 years, started collecting The Walking Dead books but found Kirdy and other SA artist. Sold all my modern books and haven't looked back. I def spent more on comics this year than I should have but I get a lot of personal joy out of my books.

Great thread but no way I can narrow it down to just 3 as this year was FANTASTIC for me...I will post my personal top 3 favorite acquisitions then share some pics of some other notable snags this year!!

 

#1....Our Flag Comics #5 (without a doubt my top pickup IMO)

 

 

 

#2...Speed Comics #28 (a tough book for sure)

 

 

#3...Wonderworld Comics #32 (also pretty difficult to obtain)

ok ok I cheated... a little there are more but like I said I feel this year was probably my best ever as far as acquisitions and since this is Comics General I wanted to share some GA books that you guys/gals may or may not get to see that often...

 

Thanks to all the boardies who helped me locate these treasures...I cartainly couldn't have done it without you!!!

 

Oh and how could I forget!! My greatest addition of all this year!!! We welcomed another little girl to our family in September!! 2015 ROCKED!!

 

 

 

 

I meant to ask you if you picked up that Our Flag 5 and I'm glad to see that you did... very nice!!!

 

And I would love to own a copy of Action 23 like yours. That looks great...

Captain America Living Legend 2 Dan Brereton Variant cover painting.

If you've seen the published comic you'll know it was mocked up to look like a 50's EC horror cover. It is also somewhat similar to the classic Captain America Comics 74 cover. I also have the 3 small paintings of Red Skull, Arnim Zola, and Baron Zemo that were used on the published cover. It anyone has copy oft his variant comic they are willing to sell please PM me.
