X-Men 94...Qualified or Not?

I've got a X-Men 94 that is missing a small (1cm) square from the top of one of the pages near the spine that does not effect the story. It looks like it was cut out with scissors. It's otherwise complete and looks like a 9.0 - 9.2. I would like to submit it for grading but wanted to make sure it wouldn't receive a qualified grade first. Has anyone had any experience with this type of submission? Thanks

Interesting question.

 

One should look for a CGC 9.0 or 9.2 with its Marvel Value Stamp cut out as a roughly comparable book. Your cut out is smaller but the defect is similar.

I do think this would get a Q label

 

a 1 cm sq cut out would drop the grade too much if the label were universal

Yeah I would not submit. Either way it will get smacked a bit.
