Can't wait for this one! It's too bad that Will Smith isn't in it, but I'm still really looking forward to it.

I'm worried that it'll be Lost World all over again. Sequel movie where only one of the two heroes returns, and it's Jeff Goldblum. Although, maybe with Judd Hirsch and Bill Pullman back, maybe it'll be better since it's more that just Jeff Goldblum back.

Makes me think of MASH. They killed of Colonel Blake because they didn't want him acting on anything else/out of spite for him not returning. They probably killed Will Smith out of spite so that they can't bring him back in a later movie even if he wants to, not that they couldn't have then faked his death.

Awesome! That trailer with Bill Pulman's speech from the original gave me chills.

I was 12 when the original came out and I saw it 4 times in the theater.

I will have to rewatch the original again. It's been awhile. It might hit lightning in a bottle just like the new Jurassic Park movie just did.
