According to person I bought from.....

-never been read

-was stored away for over 30 years

 

Here are some photos....I purchased with hopes of it being worth sending in to be graded

corners look to be blunted a bit.

spine looks pretty good.

a press would help flatten a couple indentations (visible with the light)

It's the left side of the BC; there looks to be a few small tears there.

 

because of the tears, I'm thinking 8.0

Not sure if those are tears or just overhang??? I agree could use a press to take out those pesky indentations and maybe even fix that lower left corner. I think it could get as high as a 9.2.

Looks like there are a couple of small tears from the overhang.

Maybe 8.5 with a good press but I can't see it going higher with the overhang tears

Just get you a cutting board and trim that edge off with the overhang.

What? That's how problems like this were handled by unscrupulous dealers back in the 80's.

8.0 to 8.5

 

Considering how many have been graded and how many are for sale, I wouldn't have it graded unless it was just something you wanted to do for yourself.

Update....

Got a 9.4 which I was happy with. Total invested (including press and grading) around $135

 

Sent this with it and got what I expected. Total invested (including press and grading) around $85
