Please help me with this book - I really can need a serious opinion with this very

nice first Frank Miller work on Daredevil:

Hard to tell. Photos are inferior to scans for speculating about grade. Front cover looks nice. Spine looks clean. Dents on the back spine are what would bring it down the most. 9.0 to 9.2 is the highest I'd go without better images.

Tough to tell due to the glare but it looks at least 9.0.

Oh man you're right a scan would be better, but I am afraid that the scanner of my printer isn't good enough. Do you use an extern scanner?

That little dog ear at the left lower corner of the back cover might keep this one to 9.0 or below. If that could be pressed out (if the paper fibers are not broken too badly), you might have a 9.4-9.6 because pressing would probably take care of most of those other issues too.

I wouldn't dare to press the book or any other of my books, because I am not a pro. Unfortunately I don't know anybody who can press it for me. It's a pity because the book seems so glossy and nice. First I thought it could be a 9.6, but then I saw this small dog ear

There are a few people on the board that pressed for a fee. Worth seeking IMO. I think you can squeeze out a 9.4 maybe 9.6

I was thinking 9.2... only because of that crease on the lower BC

 

the only way I'd press that book is if the dog ear crease doesn't break colour... the pic is poor quality, but the line is so defined that I'm sure it does.

 

Otherwise, the book doesn't really exhibit press-worthy features.
