Just curious about this book since it's been in my collection for about 30 years and lost track of it until recently. Thoughts?

What are those little gray spots underneath the W? If those are manufacturing defects, the book is probably a 9.0, possibly a 9.2. If they're stains, it's probably a 7.5 because CGC hammers books with stains.

Looks to me like a defect but I can't be certain of that. I'll have to take a much closer look at it. Thank you, though, for taking a look at the scans for me. Much appreciated!

Kind of looks like ink smudging to me and I'll go 9.0 due to upper edge bends and the one small bend on the bottom edge. Never seen it before.

Is Frank really missing a thumb on his left hand?

Other than light soiling, a really nice copy.! Two thumbs up, regardless of angle.... 9.2

You know that was bought (originally) straight from Wally Wood.... And as far as Frazetta's anatomy. There's always someone Crabbe'n about something.

Not sure how many times it changed hands but I grabbed it back in around '87. Love Frazetta's work. This is a great back cover.

It's almost like a phantom line a little higher than the final positioning of Buster's left hand. And I would be willing to bet that whatever photo reference Frank was working with, also displayed no thumb! Cause Frank knew more about hands... Or as much as Burne Hogarth. (Who after all did write the book on the subject), Neal Adams took finger art to new lengths, granted.

Or maybe he stuck it in his belly button, cause you can't see that either!
