Comic book advertisements

Hello all,

 

Am I the only one that love to see the advertisements in old silver age comics? I don't own and gold age at this time but I bet they are just as cool!

I enjoy looking at them too. Once in a while I'll check eBay on some of the toys in those old ads, and nine times out of ten, they make the comic they were originally advertised in look like a steal even in high grade. I grew up in the 1970s and 1980s, so I especially like like looking at those ads, since I can remember most of those things. If you want to feel old in a hurry, if your over 30 years old, check the prices on toys from your childhood. You know you're old when the stuff you grew up with is not only collectable but antique as well.
