Many would call it NM, but to him its VG...not the big of a drop off

 

Are those color breaking creases in the lower right corner?

Had same bends and some colour touch on spine near top

Yup...the spine creases near the bottom staple clearly keep this sweet book from the NM range....

He's right though. Many people, most of whom sell books on eBay, would call it NM if the scan were a bit smaller.
