Marvel free digital copy sticker. How does it affect grade?

For the last 3 or so years Marvel has been including a free digital copy with any paper copy purchased. To get the password for the free copy, you need to peel a sticker out of the book. In theory this does not damage the book, but does it affect grade?

Sticker missing will be reflected on label, and cannot score over a 9.8.

You think this will become a nitpick with collectors? I know the Marvel coupon issue with older books, but that is something that causes actual damage.

I would rather have one complete than not, and I would think most would, but who knows. People buy moderns with grades under 9.8 every day and that mystifies me too!
