Acceptable to list a piece here you are selling at auction elsewhere?

Hey guys, I put together a decent collection back in the early 90s and over the last 10 years I've sold a few pieces and books but not that many. I haven't really done anything since last year. I don't know the exact etiquette here.

If I have a piece of original comic art getting ready to go up for auction on another well-known site is it acceptable to post here about it going up on auction over there?

Thanks in advance for your answers. I'm looking to get pretty active in the next few months and possibly sell off a good bit of my Silver Age Marvels.
