Dry cleaning -- removing grease pencil

For the record, the Superman I won from this seller is trimmed, according to CGC.

Those who bought books from the P collection, they should check them.

Very disappointed

Yipes! Have you approached the seller with this news?

Contacted the seller, this is the response:

"I am sorry but there are no returns unless I missed something in the description, especially not at this late date. The books were being sold "as is" and I don't even know what "trimmed" means. I was honest in my listings and descriptions, I sold 200 comics and no one has complained, in fact people keep emailing me to see if I have more. I'm sorry I can't take a return."

I replied:

"Trimming means that the edges of the comics have been cut to appear sharper.

So this is something you "missed" describing the comic. Also, you had a few negative feedbacks from a buyer claiming the exact same thing., the comics he purchased from you have been certified as trimmed."

I will open a case on paypal, but this is the first time for me for such a big amount.

What is the best way to proceed with paypal?

I just open the case and that's it?

I will really appreciate any advise.

Thanks

Opened a paypal dispute, paypal settled with me. I was surprised since they gave me the reason within 2 hours

Good news. Glad it worked out for you.

You might not have been the only one complaining.

I know.

I wanted to share my experience and warning other buyers to check the books.

I still think that the seller is honest, just not very expert in comics

Do we know where the seller got the comics? Is it likely that whoever sold them to her did the trimming?
