Question - along the top and bottom edges, are those little stress marks or just variations in the cover's color? Without a decent zoom function I can't tell.

8.5-9.0 from what I can tell.

 

I'd love to see a 300 dpi scan against a non-white background.

 

I'd also love a jetpack and a time machine.

i agree with the above posts, it's hard to tell the condition of the edges.

 

if it's edge wear, 8.0-8.5

 

if not and there is just discolouration, then 9.0

It's tough to describe. Scans look much more harsh than in person. It's just a tad jagged (I mean verrrry slight) in a few spots at the top and bottom borders of the FC, all the way through the pages. I think it's some kind of a manufacturing defect.

 

What's strange is that where some of those little jagged areas are, those lighter spots along the edges look slightly discolored, but not worn.
