Whasa Golden Age Fortress?

Sounds like greggy braggin's on the codom issue again.

 

A Fortress was the ultimate means for storing books. It was how you slabbed a book before CGC came along. Hard plastic outer-casing, archival interior framing, Outer plates screw together and gel packets inside to control moisture.

 

The interior framing came in Silver Age or Golden Age (Silver Age is about 1/2" narrower than Golden Age size). Hope that helps.
