This is a page from a 4 page story that appeared in National Lampoon Magazine published during the Bronze Age of comics around 1970-1974.

 

This artwork is oversized and features sexy stewardesses and a Hollywood party scene with girls girls girls galore and mild (topless) nudity.

This painting is entitled "Would you believe Swedish?" by Disney artist, Carl Barks.

 

This painting comes from the Estate of Carl Barks along with a Certificate of Authenticity from Jerry Weist as well as an original B&W photo of Carl Barks posing with the series of paintings he rendered during this era of his career.

 

The painting is marked 11-67 on the back, which is believed to be the date, 1967 of the rendering along with Carl Barks personal imprinting with his name and address with the reproduction rights disclaimer.

 

This painting is signed by Carl Barks at the bottom.

There is renewed interest in the character of Elektra as she's set for an introduction in the Netflix TV series, Daredevil, to be portrayed by Elodie Yung.

 

The original art comes with the published comic book, Elektra #11.
