Not saying that this is real....at all.....but

 

Weren't silver/gold paint pens around well before the Sharpies? I seem to remember having a gold one as a kid in the 80s/90s that I used to write my name on things

 

Yes there were other companies that made paint pens. The type that had to be shaken and then would leave a glob when first used. Yes the person could have used another pen other than a sharpie.

 

 

IMHO this person was a pioneer thinking outside the box years before it became common practice to sign on the cover in silver. Is it wrong of me to think most collectors back then would've opted for the first page? Has anyone seen any other Ditko sigs on a cover in any form of pen that are in fact real?
