Bosco685
Not bad when it comes to some of the decisions Cap made within the MCU, leading to battle between friends.
chezmtghut
This is great news. Maybe Hawkeye's whole family were actually Skrulls in AoU.

Bosco685
The CAPTAIN MARVEL -script Is Not Undergoing A Page One Rewrite Says Nicole Perlman Quote One half of the duo who wrote the first screenplay for the Captain Marvel has taken to Twitter to clarify that the new draft by Geneva Roberston-Dworet won't be a complete overhaul. Two days ago, we learned Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel would be receiving a new -script from Geneva Robertson-Dworet after Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman were hired to pen a draft back in April 2015. LeFauve needed to depart the project in order to focus on Disney's animated Gigantic pic. But where does that leave Perlman?
AnthonyTheAbyss
I don't know how I feel about the new teaser. It was good but I'm tired of seeing clips from the Avenger movie. Still early but I would rather wait for a teaser that would make me go "WOW"...quality over quantity.
Bosco685
Captain Marvel Brings On Oscar Nominated Designer Quote Marvel's first female-led film already has an A-List star in Brie Larson, coupled with the talented directorial team of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Recently the studio added Geneva Robertson-Dworet to write the -script, and now they've brought in Oscar-nominated production designer Andy Nicholson to bring his expertise to the project (via Flickering Myth). Nicholson already has a great relationship with Marvel, as he worked on the Joe Johnston directed Captain America: The First Avenger. His Oscar nod came from his stellar work on Gravity, and he's also currently working on the Jurassic World sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which hits in 2018. Things seem to be trending in the right direction for Captain Marvel, a film that Marvel Studios has been very upfront about in regards to taking its time to get it right. AnthonyTheAbyss
Sam Wilson is the hidden Skrull (or one of them) in the MCU. - Military background that coincides with the Captain Marvel movie - He can easily fit into the Captain Marvel movie timeline - We don't have much information on his background in the movies (family, upbringing, etc.) - He's also somebody who's been involved throughout the MCU without being front and center - I believe he is also confirmed for the final Avengers Infinity War movie (?) There's no better candidate than Sam Wilson. ***I'm taking War Machine off the list because he's been played by two different actors

Marvel already commented that there are some joint rights (like Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch) and some like the Watcher where they have the race of Watchers but maybe Fox has the rights to the FF Watcher. That said they commented they have always had the rights to the Skrulls (I’m guessing maybe not the Super Skrull though) and the rumors about them being unable to use them in the first Avengers were false as internet rumors go. There were other creative reasons for the change. The only exchange between Marvel and Fox so far was for the use of Ego in GOTG 2 for Negasonic in Deadpool. Nothing more period in exchanges so far unless something else comes up in the future. So to answer the question Marvel always had the rights to the Skrulls. N e r V
Yeah. I was at the SDCC Marvel panel this year and they covered before, during and after the panel the rights issues and all those wonderfully (wrong!) internet rumors when they discussed the Captain Marvel movie using the Skrulls.
