Comic Book Storage Question

14 posts in this topic

Hi, I have been opening up my old boxes of comics and finding storage issues like rolled bottoms etc. Most of my collection is from the 1970s to the present.

I like the ease of putting comics in modern polybags but I know they are not as good as mylar. The mylar sleeves I've tried are so stiff I tend to bend or tear a comic trying to stuff it in. Maybe its the brands I've tried.

Can someone suggest a easy to put in archival bag or system they use, and where they bought it from?

Thanks!

I use Silver Age sized Mylars for my moderns. I guess if I had SA books, I'd use GA-sized Mylars.

(thumbs u I store my copper/moderns in Silver Age mylites. My SA books are in GA mylites inside a 4 mil mylar. I feel the mylites, with the ability to wrap the mylite over the board tightly, gives good protection from the air.

You know, there's actually a real delete function for any post that you create & that no-one has replied to. Shame that I decided to reply to this one, really.
