It could just be "sequestered." Arch explained once that a thread can be put into a moderation area for moderation group review before being cleaned, pressed and released back into the wild. Per above the norm is to just trim unless something bigger went down that they want further group review of.

 

I am very much against the pressing of threads. I prefer to read my threads in their original, unrestored version, regardless of what defects they might have.

 

And trimming is COMPLETELY wrong.
