In my case, there are books I haven't bought because I couldn't find the combination of defects I could tolerate. I'd rather have no book than an eyesore that mocks me!

 

- I'm having trouble justifying the purchase of Black Knight 1 and 5 to finish my set because I haven't found any copies I like.

 

- I'm interested in Congo Bill, but staple pulls and spine splits seem common in copies on the market. They don't seem to come up for sale above VG. I don't own one yet.

 

- Captain Marvel Adventures 90 eludes me in mid grade. I've been seeing VG- or less, or nosebleed high grade
