Amazing Spider-Man #100 (3.5-4.0) This book is solid but has 1 major defect that knocks it way down...there is a 3/4-1" bug chew along the upper spine that appears to go through the first 2 wraps. There are also some stains along the spine, FC upper left corner and top edge of back cover. The top staple is slightly rusty and overshot/sunken in. There are some corresponding minor staple tears. There are a few very slight dimples on the front cover. Corners are somewhat blunted and there is some creasing and edge wear along the top, bottom and right edges. BC is mostly clean...no major tears in the book. Staples are well-attached at cover and CF, pages are cream to off-white and supple. Book is complete and doesn't appear to be restored. Pressing status is unknown.

Amazing Spider-Man #101 (7.0-7.5) Really nice copy, IMO. Flat, tight solid book. Cover and CF firmly attached. Some slight rusting/discoloration of staples with a minor amount of transfer at cover and CF. FC upper right and lower right corner wrinkling with some color breaks. Slight upper & lower edge wear. A few (4-5) color-breaking spine creases. BC has some minor soiling and a tiny rust transfer from another book. Book is complete. Pages are off-white and supple. No restoration is apparent to me and the book has not been pressed to my knowledge.

 

Ps. one edge of the book (BC half) appears to have been miscut at production...you can notice this if you look at the BC scans, lower left edge. I do not believe this was trimmed after the fact.

Amazing Spider-Man #122 was $75 SOLD! (4.5-5.0) Another solid, colorful copy. "10¢" written in blue marker along spine, FC. 3-4 small stains on spine visible on FC and BC. Long diagonal crease through book, though the color break is only on the FC. Corners are blunted with minor creasing. General soiling on FC and BC. 6-7 color-breaking creases on spine and some discoloring to staples but no visible transfer. Cover and CF are well-attached. Pages are off-white and supple. Book is complete and doesn't appear to be restored. Pressing status is unknown but the lingering crease in the pages makes me think it wasn't.
