4 color comic page count..help please

I believe they counted both the outside and inside covers as pages, meaning there were actually 64 pages of stories printed on pulp, along with front cover, inside front cover, back cover and inside back cover.

usually in multiples of 8, if it isn't, it is probably either a 100 pager, a wierd title, or missing a page or two :P

 

oh, forgot to add that some people count the inside pages only and some count the cover, 68 pages sound like more than 64, but they could have an identical number of pages heh.

BTW; Four color didn't number thier comic pages. But the 68 page count did indeed include the covers front and back and the inside covers.

 

GOLD KEY comics also used the inside covers for the stories. They also were not numbered.

 

TREASURE CHEST was another that used the covers front and back and inside covers. They would also number the pages. First inside page was number 3.
