Classic Hitler & Hirohito cover!

 

Very minor resto on this sweet looking copy. It has high grade eye-appeal. I didn't slab this so I can't give more specific information, but the book appears to have a 3/8" tear at the top of the cover as well as a tear on the back at the staple. The white schmutz at the D on the title is not on the case, but oddly seems to be floating above the cover, as if on the inner sleeve, but I can't say for sure. The small line between the N and the D was something on the scanner.

SUB-MARINER COMICS #13

 

Classic snake/bondage/hooded menace war cover!

 

Copy is missing the centerfold, which effects the second Subby story, but fortunately not the first which features undersea zombies!

 

There are three pieces of clear tape on the inside spine, one at either end covering an approx. 1" spine split, and one at the staple, securing the cover. Slight spine roll and back cover in same shape as front. Eye appeal is solid and pages are cream-off white.

 

One of Schomburg's better covers, and possibly the best on the Subby run!

Note piece out of top left near spine. A little rust a the top staple, and bottom one only attached from back cover/spine. Slight spine roll, light tanning to inside covers, but book is supple. A few front cover stains visible in scan, small spine split at bottom.

VG- off-white pages. 1" tear in cover to the R in the Archie Magazine triangle. The line continuing to the top is a crease. Also not there is a spot of rust on each staple but no bleed.

 

Great GGA gag cover.

Also has brittleness at the page corners, resulting in chipping along the top open corner of all the pages. Can still be easily read with no flaking.

Classic cover and Ben & May prototypes.

 

Decent eye appeal, but spine split to just above top staple. Front spine edge is glued to book down to staple.

Major tear on back cover, going from spine to illustration of the pot full of paint brushes, and a lower back cover corner tear, piece still hanging on. See picture.
