Pedigree Comics' Ultra High Grade Marvel Grand Auction is Underway!

Pedigree Comics’ June Grand Auction is underway. The auction began on the night on Sunday, June 5th and lasts for ten (10) days until the night of Wednesday, June 15th as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website (www.PedigreeComics.com). The first lot will end beginning at 8:07 P.M. EST (Amazing Adventures #1 9.4) and the last lot will end at 11:59 P.M. EST (X-Men Annual #14 9.8). There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and EVERY item (save for a couple) has no reserve. Every book is CGC or CBCS graded and the minimum bid is only $1.00. There are many incredible groups of books, runs as well as individual highest certified comics from a myriad of titles in the auction, many from the incredible Miramar Collection:

 

The Miramar Collection was recently consigned to Pedigree Comics and includes over 500 ultra high grade Marvels and DC’s. The Marvels highlight this June Grand Auction while the DC’s will be the focus of Pedigree’s Special DC August Grand Auction. There are many different titles to choose from, including Amazing Adventures, Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Conan the Barbarian, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Inhumans, Iron Man, Journey Into Mystery, Marvel Presents, Nick Fury, Sgt. Fury, Sub-Mariner, Thor, Tomb of Dracula, Warlock, X-Men and more. There are many keys and #1 issues in the collection and almost every book has either white or off-white to white pages.

 

There are some nice runs of books in the collection too, primarily Amazing Adventures, Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Journey Into Mystery, Nick Fury, Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos, Sub-Mariner, Thor, Tomb of Dracula, and X-Men (Silver Age plus a great run of the Bronze Age “New” X-Men).

 

The consignor put this collection together over the past 15 years and was very picky about page quality (none of the books in his collection has less than off-white to white pages) and registration. He would buy CGC certified books from different dealers around the country focusing on super-heroes.
