Flaring on book

Just got in a book with mild flaring on the back left top and bottom corners, might have been improper pressed but not sure. How Do I remove or reduce this a home,I do not have a press nor want to send in the book to be pressed as its only a 30$ book but it still bothers me. Ideas on how to correct this myself at home would be awesome. Thanks in advance

I don't want to send it back because other then that the book is perfect and I am very happy with it.
