Batman 181 question

How much is the grade affected if the issue (batman 181) is missing the pinup?

I believe you'd get either a .5 universal (provided there is no restoration) OR a qualified grade which would be based on the overall grade of the book as if the ceterfold was present.

I believe GE is correct, and in order to get the far less common qualified grade your apparent condition if not for the missing centerfold would need to be north of 5.0 most likely.

 

A friend of mine just picked up a DD#1 with the final, non-story page missing, so we called and asked about that.

 

Another book to be careful with is Captain Marvel Adventures #13; that had a pin-up centerfold too.
