Tales to Astonish 80+ 81 (1st Boomerang)

#80 two small tears at the top, a few spine lines, corner crease lower right and a little tan line one the open edge. Small tear on the back. Grade is VG/F.

#81, Small crease upper right, a few small spine lines, about 1” of the bottom back edge is a little rough. Grade is Fine- (5.5)

Tales to Astonish 83, 84, 85

#83, Some smalle creases, spine lines near the sine, Pencil # at the top, Back has a very light quarter sized stain. Grade is Fine

#84, Some tiny lines near the spine, bottom right corner has some wear. Grade is Fine.

#85 Very small corner creases, one dime sized spot in the gloss, tiny spine lines, a little dirt on the back.Grade is Fine- Bin is $28 for all 3 Sold to Eddragon

At this time, that seems to be the end of Evelyn's books. She might have a few more, if I get them this week, i'll add them to this thread, I'm waiting for some pictures, or a box or something.

 

It's been a lot of fun.

 

Feel free to make reasonable group offers. Thread will remain open, but I'll probably start invoicing tomorrow, but that does not mean the thread is closed.

There is a paid stamp at the top and the spine is bent up (not a regular roll:) pages are very light. Nice color and a big crease lower right.

Small piece off the top of the cover, some dirt/crasing on the back. Grade is Gd/VG or a little better.

 

#4, Sub-Marnier cross/over. Small spine lines, small corner creases and a bump at the bottom of the spine, light creasing. Grade is Fine- (5.5)

 

#5, Bump at the bottom of the spine, and small tear/fold on the back cover. Grade is VG/F

 

#9, Bump at the TOP of the spine on this one, corner bend upper right and a production crease on the back. Grade is VG/F

Book was manufactured with 1 staple. Some spine lines, crease upper right, and a corner missing on the top of the back over.

Great color and gloss, pages in the OW range.

Some light creasing lower left, and a tiny chip missing near the spine.

Grade is VG/F (5.0). Bin $40

 

Daredevil #17

Spider-man

Nice color, pages are in the W/ow range.

There are some marks in the gloss at the top, a slight spine roll at the bottom.

Grade is VG/F Bin is $22

 

 

Daredevil #21

Great color, pages in the OW range.

Small bend upper right. Very small hole on the spine. Grade is vg/f (5.0)

Daredevil #22,

Great color, pages in the white range.

very small crease lower right and a tiny tear at the base of the spine. Grade is Fine- (5.5)

Bin is $20 for the pair.

 

Daredevil #27, 32, and 33 (copy A)

All have great color, pages in the white range.

#33 has a big crease in the back. All the books are in the VG to VG/F range.

Bin is $32 for all 3.

 

Daredevil #33, Copy B

Color is great, pages are in the white range

Small corner crease, lower right, there is a bend on the back top corner, some spine bends. Grade is in the Fine range. Bin is $15

 

 

Fantastic Four #37

Great color, pages are in the OW range

There are some spine bends (hard to see in a scan) and a production crease on the front, back is better. Spine is curled a tiny bit.

Grade is VG/F Bin is $25

 

Fantastic Four #39, Daredevil x-over, Wood inks on Daredevil. Classic cover.

Great color, pages in the OW range.

 

There is a 1/2” tear at the top and a tiny hole. The bottom right corner inside, has a tiny bit of damage, I'm guessing it's bug chews. (I hope) Back Cover has a 1.5 “ tear plus 2 smaller tears on the open edge.

I'm going to say it's a nice looking Good+, bin is $12

 

All of these books have great color and great paper in the W/OW range.

Sgt Fury and his Howling Commandos #21

There are 2 large corner bends, lower right. I don't see color breaks there, but there are some small spine lines. Grade is VG as it is now.

Sgt Fury #26

Slight bend on the upper right, and a small line(scuff? ) on the lower right. Grade is Fine+

 

Sgt Fury #27

Spine is a little turned up. There are some smallish spine lines, grade is Fine

 

Sgt Fury #28

Spine is a little turned up, some small spine lines. Very slight bend at the top and there is a tiny tear lower right. Grade is VG/F

Sgt Fury #29

Slight bend at spine. Tiny tears (on the back) at the top staple, small spine lines, tiny corner crease front upper right. Grade is Fine +

 

Sgt Fury #30,

Slight bend at spine. Looks like the book was miss-cut, the back does not line up. Grade is VG, but it's probably a little better.

Sgt Fury #31,

Small tears at the staples, some crimping on the right side, small tear on the top of the back cover. Grade is VG+

 

Sgt Fury #33,

A lot of spine lines, two long vertical lines on the front. Grade is Gd/VG.

Sgt Fury #34 Origin Issue

Slight bend in spine, there is some damage, creasing (and the paper is soft) lower right. Grade is VG+

nice pages, nice color, in the fine range.

Amazing Spider-man #75,

Crease lower right and a very small crease at the top. Great color, pages are OW, light moisture stain upper left corner. Grade is VG/F,

Amazing Spider-man #89

Great color and gloss, with a moisture stain upper left on the back, that goes through about 8 pages.

Amazing Spider-man Annual #2. Nice color, nice pages. There are spine lines and there is a 2” cover spine lift in the front and spine lines. Grade is Good+ (2.5) or a little better. Bin is $30

 

Avengers #11, Spider-man x-over.

Nice color, pages are in the OW range, The front cover has creasing and a small piece missing at the lower right. Back, there is a 1” tear, and a crease at the lower right.

Grade is VG- (3.5) Bin is $50

There is a 1” tear on the back, a very small tear on the front. Grade is VG- (3.5)
