PGM: Mister Mystery #1

Grabbed this guy at a show today...appreciate any feedback or thoughts on the grade/condition. Staples are tight, no major tears, just the visible folds. Pages on the inside actually look decent. Read it already and am now debating getting it slabbed at the Baltimore Con. Thanks for the help!

on the back cover scan I see a page that looks like its sticking out a bit too much. is everything attached inside or is something popped on the bottom staple?

yep, bottom staple is off, top is on. just a weird fold too.

Are those holes from removed extra staples (visible on back)?

Not sure, looks like it could of been as the holes permeate a few pages deep

 

I was thinking 2.5 as well, which would make me pretty happy

Now the next question.....worth getting it slabbed? I don't think I want to keep it long term.

I agree with the crowd, a 2.0/2.5 tweener. If you're selling, sell it raw; the costs associated with slabbing would make no sense for this book.

I think it's a 2.5 as is. It's just too decent to drop it down to 2.0 even with the popped centerfold for the reason there are no large pieces or corners out.
