Tear Seals: How difficult are they to remove and do results usually look good?

Was wondering if anyone has ever had a tear seal removed from their book and were you satisfied with the result? How does the process work? And is it more difficult to remove a tear seal along the spine (interior of cover) vs. along the edges of the comic? Appreciate any feedback (thumbs u
