Offering up some undercopies....

 

- General Rules:

  • No PL/HOS members. More generally, I reserve the right to refuse sale to any one that I don't feel comfortable with. Aside from that, the first taker wins, whether in the thread or via PM, based on time stamp.
  • I consider a book to be taken as of the instant that terms have been agreed to by both me and the buyer. I'll mark books SOLD as soon as reasonably possible; if I put a book ON HOLD, that book is not available for purchase until it comes back off HOLD

- Payment:

  • I'll take PayPal, personal checks, or USPS money orders;
  • I'll expect payment within 10 calendar days, or the book will be available for sale again (unless we've made other payment arrangements)
  • I'll gladly consider longer-term time payments, but PM me to discuss terms before taking a book if you need that.

- Shipping Terms:

  • USA:
    - Graded Comics: shipping via priority mail, $12 each book (of course, I'll combine shipping across items, and I won't charge you more than it costs to ship your package in that case)
  • Canada, UK or Australia: we'll figure incremental shipping charges for boxed/trackable/insured shipping (either first class or priority mail international, depending on package value and destination); please don't ask me to understate value on customs forms
  • Other International Destinations: case by case basis...I'll need to see if I'm comfortable with available shipping options

- Returns/refunds:

  • General policy:
    I will accept returns for any reason within two weeks of your receipt of the books, as long as the books are returned to me as they were when you received them. Because they're slabs, you cover shipping cost both ways.

As always, I'm trying to cut to the chase on prices from the get-go. Of course, if you think I'm off on something, I'm happy to discuss. :foryou: I bought the books slabbed, so I don't know whether they've been pressed or not.

Last book for the thread...not technically an EC, but close enough for our purposes...

 

So, Picture Stories from the Bible was the flagship title that Max Gaines used to launch EC, after he split with the DC crowd. Here's a Gaines File Copy of one of the Bible books that predates the DC split. Unusual, because it's a Gaines File Copy of a DC book...Picture Stories from the Bible is the only title where I've seen a "non-EC" Gaines File Copy...

 

No Gaines certificate with this one.....also, scuff/streak upper right is on the case, not the book

If you can find a Gaines File Copy of anything that's cheaper than this...let me know so I can go buy it :insane:
