Hello,

 

For sale today: A complete run of Our Fighting Forces #1-181.

 

I picked this up from a long time collector who had amassed it during the early 1980s...definitely pre-internet. My first thought was to break it up and sell them individually on eBay...but I'd much rather get the entire run to one person. Unfortunately the grades cover a wide range from FR 1.0 to NM- 9.2 on some of the later issues. Even though it might be tougher to find someone interested in that big a range of grades...I figured I'd try it here first.

 

This collection was fun to grade...all the orginal bags were there most with stickers showing the various vendors they were bought from...lots from James Hauser, Sparkle City Comics and Mile High Comics. The grades I assigned are very conservative and almost always lower than the original dealer's was (some way lower and some a half grade or more lower).

 

I have scans of back and front covers for #1-137 and then just front covers for #138-181. I'll include the scans of the first 20 issues and some of the keys in this post but I have the full set on photobucket

At the grades I have assigned, the current overstreet value is ~$4695.00 and that doesn't even take into account that the #1 would sell for over guide as well as a few other keys. Tough to come up with a realistic price. I'm sure most of them could be found, especially the lower grade issues and if one had a little patience, for 60% of guide...while the keys and higher grade ones might be harder to locate cheaply.
