Can you add new comics not listed in a Competitive Set?

Hi everybody, hopefully someone can drop some knowledge on me. I am trying to build my first set in the CGC Registry. I was working on the Mike Debalfo Cover Art set and noticed I had comics that it did not recognize comics I had. They are clearly listed in other sets as Mike Debalfo, but not available in this set. How can I add other comics into the set? Did I do something wrong to start out?

I have added Widow's Web #2 and Variants to the Mike DeBalfo Set.

There are separate threads for adding a book to an existing set (expansion) or just adding a new set completely (full sets).
