Pedigreecomics.com’s 1st Ever Original Comic Art Auction is Underway!

1 post in this topic

Pedigree Comics, well known throughout our hobby for selling and auctioning high end certified CBCS & CGC comics, is proud to announce that our 1st ever art auction is now underway. The auction began on the night of Monday, October 10th and ends on the night of Thursday, Oct 20th, 2016.

The auction features original art for every type of collector from Golden Age to Modern, with prices starting as low as $100 and up with absolutely no buyers premium. Seller's fee is the absolute the lowest in the industry: As low as 7% and no higher than 10% per consignment.

"We have been working around the clock, researching, meeting art collectors and sellers, taking in consignments, and working on the IT end of our site for a year just to get this right." stated Randy Lawrence, Pedigree's Original Art Consignment Director " When we first started talking about doing an art auction, we decided it needed to be a great experience for both the sellers and the collectors, and that is just what we believe we have accomplished. I think that everyone will be shocked on how well they did doing buying and selling in the auction!"

Some highlights from this auction include:

There is still time to consign your original art by reaching out to Randy Lawrence by calling him at: (561)886-8777 or emailing him at: RandyLawrence@pedigreecomics.com. We are accepting consignments until midnight on Thursday, October 13th. Randy is always happy to talk with consignors night and day, so reach out when it's most convenient for you. Remember, the earlier you consign, the more exposure your pieces will receive!

There are three very easy ways to consign your art to any of Pedigree’s upcoming Original Art Auctions and the only criteria is that each piece of art must be worth no less than $100.00 each:

1. Ship your art pieces directly to our offices in Wellington, Florida. We will inventory, scan and upload each piece into the Grand Auction listing. The art will be listed under your personal account and you will receive email notification at the conclusion of the auction with a list of every consigned piece that sold along with the winning bid made.

2. Email the scans of the art you wish to consign directly to us at Randylawrence@pedigreecomics.com. We will format and upload each scan onto our server and then put each art piece into the Grand Auction listing. Please use a .jpeg format with the resolution set at 72 and the pixel width at 550 for optimum clarity. If you do not have a scanner you can use a digital camera.

3. You can upload your own scans, item information, descriptions and reserve amounts, if any, by utilizing our Automated Consignment System. Just register onto the site (www.PedigreeComics.com) and login, click the “Customer Page” tab under “Your Account” and then click “Consignments” (under the “Auctions” heading). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and list your own original art. We will receive an email once you have uploaded the scan and art information for each individual item into the system and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the Grand Auction listing to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to use the Automated Consignment System!
