Question on a 8200 Scanjet Scanner

Hi anyone that may be more computer savy then me My scanner is scanning to bright and I do not see where to try and set it from color to orginal color as a setting for scanning .I had some problems with my computer last week and it was perfect from begining when I brought it home and used it for the last 5 years but since the problem I ran into this new problem after uninstalling the driver and installing it again .
