That Sanjulian cover finished at $9,280 last night with the 16% juice. 893whatthe.gif

 

I was runner-up on the Gonzalez Vampirella pin-up (which finished at $5,510 with the juice). It's a gorgeous piece, to be sure, but I'm not sure if it was published (I hadn't seen it before and it's not listed among an online archive of his published frontispieces) and I couldn't justify going to $5,800+ to win it. I was 2nd runner-up on the Vampi #101 cover art, which went for $3,190 with the juice. Oh well, more money for other purchases. yay.gif
